WP ManagerDX – Website Builder & Controller

If you’re like me, you’ve got dozens of Wordpress blogs and have to go from one to the other to configure any updates or add new content.

There are bits of software to help, like desktop applications where you can, maybe, add an article or image to any blog by uploading it from the program into your target blog but it’s still a lot of work each time this happens.

Finding that all my time was taken up with visiting blog after blog making adjustments and updating things, I decided to look for a way to control all of my blogs from just one location.

The answer lay in a newly updated script called WP ManagerDX.

You simply upload the script to your webspace, run the install program and configure it to your needs. You also get a content supply and updater in order to post content to your various web sites and blogs.

WP ManagerDX is run by Edna Melendez who also replies to support requests and, I can promise you, runs one of the best support systems I’ve seen. Very quick and efficient and has all the answers should you need help.

The program, which runs off of your own website, is easy to navigate and set up. You are given an installation guide and a full instruction book when you download the software after purchasing it.

You also receive a ‘Manage Content Module’ (auto-poster) which you install separately but which integrates with WP ManagerDX seamlessly. This add-on module will post content to your chosen site(s) automatically at pre-set times, if you so choose.

WP ManagerDX works best when you use it to install brand new Wordpress blogs but, in the most recent version (March 2010) you can simply add your existing blogs by typing in your Wordpress blog’s statistics. That being, site name, URL, username, password etc..

It can set up a new blog in seconds, it’s amazingly fast and accurate.

I listed about 20 blogs to begin with where WP ManagerDX would update Wordpress itself and /or plugins to the latest version automatically, according to my settings.

The software will create pages for you, too. Supposing you need a privacy policy, terms and conditions page and an ‘about me’ page on all your new sites but don’t want to have to repeatedly type these in or set them up. Just type the details once into WP ManagerDX and copy the set up to any other blogs you’d like to install. Then click ‘install all’ to have all the sites built in seconds.
One of the most annoying things I would have to do was finding all the plugins that I needed for each installation but now using WP ManagerDX I can simply have one version of each plugin and upload each one to as many or a selection of my sites as I please … this saves another headache each time.

Although a very simple program, it is a major solution to a life long problem where WP ManagerDX has a few more tricks up it’s sleeve but for me, updating, creating and loading content are it’s best features and, after using it for a short time, you’ll wonder why you didn’t get involved sooner … before you installed another few Wordpress blogs.

This latest version can work with your older blogs now, so there’s no excuse not to buy WP ManagerDX right away.

Highly recommended and one of those ‘must-have’ tools if you’re serious about your blogging.
